Presidential Debate Coverage

This is just a list of some of the media coverage from the Green Part Presidential Debated.

San Francisco Chronicle:  A little condescending.  But, it did get covered in a major regional paper.

Bay Area Indy Media:  This is a blog comment.  It does get to the central issus, as far as I am concerned.  That is whether or not Nader is a candidate.  This was a chance to ask vor votes.  Since he did not take it, and made a specific requirement for the organizers to state that he "is not a candidate" I can only assume that this will continue to be the case.

Left in San Francisco: Another blogger commenting who was actually there commenting on the debate.

With Nader not willing to commit himself to the nomination, it would seem that many are turning to Cynthia McKinney.  However, kimknox at Left in San Francisco offers this exchange betyween moderatyor Cindy Sheehan and McKinney.

Sheehan’s last question was “How would you use your campaign to help Green Party to create better ties with other progressives.”

Cythnia McKinney’s answer got a standing ovation when she said, “The Green Party needs to stop being divided. We need to unite the party. We must face the machine of corporate politics and we can’t do it divided. I’ve have never seen something like this like I see now in the Green Party. So please let’s come together.”

For those who want to plow through the entire debate, KPFA will broadcast / webcast it Tuesday Evening starting at 7 PM Pacific Time.

As I find more items that I can link to, I will update this entry.
